Our services are very competitive. We are aware of the financial difficulties parents may face post separation and legal costs in private law matters could cost £1000s.
We heavily depend on donations when affordable costs are not applicable on every case to assist us with administrative cost.

Lead Family Court/ Male Domestic Abuse Practitioner
Since joining Family Court Services, Prem has played a crucial role in the continued success of supporting the service of family court matters. With an exceptional skill set, true passion and leadership has inspired Prem to help successful secure positive outcomes for both children and their families.
Prem is experienced in all aspects of family law proceeding. Having worked in Social Care, Child Protection, youth and family Court for over 20 years, he is able to provide you with the tools and guidance to self represent confidently.
Prem is a specialist and experienced domestic abuse and child sexual abuse practitioner. Prem's family practice focuses exclusively on supporting parents, in complex and sensitive private law matters.
Claire Colcombe
Lead CALM GROUP Practitioner
Claire is experienced in supporting families through court processes in family and criminal law matters. As a Calm Practitioners Claire often supports parents in court, giving them the support and guidance they need. Other areas of support include, social and housing, Mindfulness, holistic therapy, finances, child development. Domestic Abuse.
Casey Gordon
Family Court / Domestic Abuse and Lead Therapeutic Practitioner
Casey has worked with vulnerable children and adults in a range of public departments for many years. With over 20 years experience in working with cases where Child protection, domestic abuse and mental illness have been prevalent.
Casey specialises in all aspect of therapeutic intervention and domestic abuse and is able to offer arbitration, mediation and psychological support to those that are in need of this type of provision.

Referral process
FCS will ensure we assist those who most need our help and means the families get the support they need.
We recieve applications from both private and statutory sectors and volunteers from a variety of organisations, schools, children/family services, children’s centres, other charities such as domestic abuse support teams.
All applications are processed after we have reviewed your case.
In circumstances where we are unable to accept your application we will direct you to services who may be able to help you.
